Rachael Daum
Rachael Daum received a BA in Creative Writing from the University of Rochester and an MA in Slavic Studies from Indiana University. She was awarded a 2021 PEN/Heim Translation Fund Grant for her translation from Serbian of Lusitania by Dejan Atanacković, and she is the translator from Russian of Letters to Robot Werther by Natalia Rubanova (Carrion Bloom Books, 2021). Her original work and translations have appeared in Words Without Borders, Asymptote Journal, The Los Angeles Review, 128 Lit, Circumference Magazine, and elsewhere. She lives in Cologne, Germany. Ivana Sajko's The Story of a Man Who Collapsed Into His Notebook is her first published book-length translation.
