After a short love affair with a glassblower, photographer Una, under the pretext of preparing an exhibition, goes to a long-abandoned village, to her parents' house, to get away from her unbearable everyday life.
With the eye of her analogue camera, inherited from her mother Ida, she records her inner feelings with external images. She talks to her lover about her return, her unspeakable longing, her wanderings through the village and the nearby small town, and by photographing the remnants of bad times, she hints at the decades-old love story of her mother, who, although married, fell in love with another craftsman and, like Una today, was ready to start a new life.
